When I started researching my Bowler line I was just writing everything down that I found about the Bowlers in Nottinghamshire where my Bowler tree is based, after a while I realised they had spread over into the neighbouring county of Derbyshire where I am living and being only a few minutes drive from the Derbyshire Archives it was quite easy to get access to all the Census & Parish Registers.

It seemed a shame to waste all the Bowler names I had collected so I decided to put them on a website, and to further this I am currently wading through the Derbyshire Parish Registers extracting ALL the Bowlers,but I hav'nt done much during the summer months, also I am going through all the Census records for Derbyshire, when this is complete I will move on to Nottinghamshire.

I am about halfway through the Derbyshire Registers so if you don't see a particular Parish it simply means there are no Bowlers there,or I hav'nt done that parish, also be aware that some early registers are very difficult to read so It is possible I may have missed some entries.

If anyone wants anything particular looking up or checking let me know, I do have other information regarding movements etc so please ask.
